by Matteo Morelli Photo by After having lost its chance to host the event in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Montreal could finally deliver the World Figure Skating Championships this year, with Centre Bell arena welcoming all the top skaters in the world for the most important competition of the season. PREVIEW: 2024 WORLD CHAMPSIONSHIPS by Matteo Morelli Montreal is welcoming the 2024 World Figure Skating Championships, giving Canada the chance to host the event after having to cancel it in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The competition will be held at Bell Centre, an arena with a capacity of more than 20,000 and the second largest ice hockey arena in the world. The ice dance field will see 36 teams representing 26 countries taking the ice to compete for the best spots. by Matteo Morelli The ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships 2024 is taking place in Taipei, Taiwan, from February 26 to March 3.  This will be Taipei’s second time hosting the event after having welcomed it in 2017, when the podium included current USA’s senior skaters Michael Parsons in gold medal position (back then skating with his sister Rachel Parsons), and Christina Carreira & Anthony Ponomarenko in bronze medal position.
