I went gluten free around 6 months ago and felt so much better for it. But one thing I've noticed is that after eating gluten I feel that I can smell something yeasty, kinda sweet. Hard to describe. It's sort of like when you've eaten garlic and can smell it from your pores/exhalation. Am I crazy or does this happen for anyone else? I'm pretty sure it's not psychosomatic as it's happened after not realising I've eaten gluten. The smell has caused me to go back and look at what I've eaten. Weird. The company “ENER G” who produces a wealth of GF and special diets choices in bread and sliced bread and who was on the cutting edge and forefront of the commercial gluten-free culinary movement (including their egg-replacer which I’ve used for 30 years) has ceased production! Has anyone else experienced this? And what were the differences you experienced after going gluten free? I'm gluten intolerant and the most serious symptoms I experience are psychological and cognitive. It's like I become mentally numb and dumb, and it can eventually lead to really dark depression depending on how much I consume in short period of time. When I am glutened, I literally cannot enjoy anything. The only thing that somewhat helps is coffee, but sometimes it doesn't help at all if I am very glutened.. Just gives me anxiety. This recipe is literally SO EASY and the hardest part was cutting the beef which took me 30 mins. You can probably just use pre-cut beef for max convenience. Disclaimer: I’m not a chef or a recipe person by any means. Just someone who fucked around and found an amazing recipe and wanted to share.
