Kit: Butterfly Profusion by Dimensions Dates: March 8 to April 25 2024
I wanted to try a kit with blending filament, because I enjoy torturing myself apparently... ?!
My conclusion is stitching with Dimensions' blending filament is definitely not fun, and can be downright frustrating, but the final effect is absolutely beautiful (unfortunately, my pictures don't do it justice). So, it was worth the pain.
And why do I always underestimate how long backstitching actually takes? That alone took me 4 evenings!

I am very close to finishing this project! The only thing missing is the fillings in white and the backstitching. But I have moved to Munich and I have no idea where can I go to buy the DMC floss I miss, this cursed b5200. Does anyone have any idea? Or sites, except Amazon, that I can buy it?

I love dragons! And other serpent-like creatures. After completing a few cross stitch projects I got an idea of creating a gallery of dragon- themed projects. I found so many great patterns, that two life spans won't be enough to make them all, but let's see how it goes.
