Responding to Patients and Dispensary Complaints, Ohio Changes its MMJ Purchasing Limits Ohio is finally simplifying its previously strict limits on medical marijuana purchases after patients complained that restrictions were preventing them from buying the medicine they need, when they need it. Currently patients are limited to a "90-day supply" of medical marijuana, as stipulated under Ohio state law. While cannabis arrest are down, there are still too many. Federal law enforcement agents and their local partners throughout the United States made fewer weed-related arrests in 2019. But when they did, they seized an estimated four million marijuana plants, making off with nearly 45% more cannabis than they did in 2018.
