We’ve had a few questions around the Ladies and Girls Changing Rooms and thought an update was due. a, Matt Hague successfully applied for Section 106 money from CBC. New floodlights were installed on Pitch 1 and some remaining funds were allocated to the Ladies Changing Project. b, The Club organised a Crowdfunder through Sport England, hit its target thanks to support of members and the local business community and had initial drawings done. We still had a financial shortfall due to Sport England downgrading the portion they would ‘fund match’ due to our areas “prosperity”. In addition, we c ..read more

Ampthill secured back to back away wins for the first time this season, edging out Bedford Blues in the Battle of Bedfordshire, their first success at Goldington Road since January 2022. The Mob applied most of the early attacking pressure in the game, and were rewarded with the opening try of game after 11 minutes. After a rolling maul was stopped close to the try line, the A’s recycled the ball well, and the ball found its way to Brandon Jackson on the left wing, who brilliantly manoeuvred his way around the covering defence to dot down in the corner. Following Josh Barton’s conversion, Ampt ..read more
