I took the exam on Tuesday, April 23rd and just received my results. I expected to score lower on the speaking section, so I'm happy with that. Overall, I would say that the actual exam was much easier than the mock tests. submitted by /u/Appropriate-Wafer849 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I had one month preparation, learning for 1-2 hours daily (albeit inconsistency here and there). My resource: Youtube ieltsadvantage, the IELTS 2024 full course video specifically. I only watched the writing and speaking part. The Official Cambridge Guide to IELTS During speaking test, I made an embarassing mistake. I left the room after Part 2. The examiner chased me and said "Miss, the exam hasn't finished. You can not escape yet.". My nervous system ? One thing I regret is not having a good sleep the night before. I had to waste around 5 minutes to wash my face during writing te ..read more

I took my IELTS last week and I was given an accommodation because of my ADHD. Basically the listening test was played more than once and I was given 15 minutes more in reading and writing. My speaking was provided like how normal people would take it. Generally I was okay. Reading exam was okay, the listening exam accommodation was very helpful because listening was a little hard for me to focus on. However, despite the 75 minutes in writing exam, I was not able to finish the task 1. I am pretty sure I will get my desired scores in LRS, but my writing will be almost impossible ( my target is ..read more
