Wow...for the longest time I absolutely lamented Excel but then I became tired of the embarrassment of being awful with it as a younger person (27). I made it my New Years resolution to improve my Excel Skillset and although I am only scratching the surface, I've fallen in love with it and I am utilising it loads in my professional and personal life to make things more efficient, capture data better etc. I love the problem solving element of it! I’m new at my company, and our month close process for the Finance team has recently added two steps, 60+ buckets, and Adjustments. The analyst who designed our automated Query to pull the transactions for AR for the month out of the Microsoft Dynamics GP (non-subscription version) is no longer available. I haven’t created automated Queries before, only new queries a few times here and there. And I am worried about editing this legacy Query. At the top, there is a field for month end date. So I'm ready to take the deep dive concerning Excel and data analysis, but would I be hindered at all if I used Excel 2016 instead of the newest one from Microsoft 365? Would it be hard to follow the latest tutorials using Excel 2016? Would certain functionality like data visualizations or anything else be missing with Excel 2016? Most motors are widescreen now, with many being ultra wide. Splitting an excel window view is helpful, but I have multiple tables that are longer horizontally than they have rows of data. Is it possible to put a vertical split between column J and K, but have the table starting at column K be viewed horizontally beneath my table that ranges from columns A through I? Essentially, I would love to be able to view a horizontal split, with the top portion allowing me to view columns A through I and the bottom portion of my window display columns J and onward. Hi! The problem is as follows: I gathered data from an analytical instrument in one workbook, that I have to reference in another workbook to get the final value I need. Since I might need to sort the tables all my data is in, it is important that they are not absolute references, since this would mess up the attribution. I already tried structured references, as well as VLOOKUP by comparing the sample IDs, that both ended in error messages. Hello, I'm a student and I'm having trouble on making pivot map graphs. I already made the map but it shows the whole globe and doesn't highlight the places that has data. I've watched tutorials on how they do it, it's either automated or there's a yellow pop up on top of your graph allowing for you to have upload your data on bing.
