A UK release has been announced for Sky Peals following a debut on the festival circuit. The film had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in Critics’ Week last autumn; its UK premiere was at the BFI London Film Festival. Sky Peals is written and directed by Moin Hussain and stars rising talent Faraz Ayub, who was selected for the BAFTA Elevate initiative in 2019. Support comes from Natalie Gavin, Claire Rushbrook, Simon Nagra, Steve Oram and Jeff Mirza.  The film will be released in UK and Ireland cinemas on 9th August. Ahead of Amazon’s inaugural upfront presentation on May 14, Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel to Red, White & Royal Blue is in development, with Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez reprising their roles as Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz. Matthew López will return to write the script—this time alongside Red, White & Royal Blue author, Casey McQuiston. Dale Dickey leads the cast of this fantastic film which we first caught out in Tallinn late last year. The feature from writer and director Karl R. The relaunched Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) has announced that this year’s 77th edition of the Festival will open with Nora Fingscheidt’s adaptation of Amy Liptrot’s best-selling memoir, The Outrun. A new trailer and poster have landed for the science fiction film A Quiet Place: Day One which will play in cinemas later this year. The film is a prequel to the two John Krasinski-helmed movies this time directed by Michael Sarnoski from a screenplay he wrote with Krasinski.
