I am someone who will pick up anything from my wardrobe and happily go on with my day. While traveling I look for comfort more than anything. But it all changed in Paris. I went to Paris with my sister Alka. She brought a sari along and insisted that I wear it in Paris in...

It has been a long time since I planned a trip and applied for a visa! But that changed recently. I could have done this earlier but for my daughter’s tennis! But by now not being able to travel was coming on my soul and I asked her coach the permission to travel. He did...

In my family we love to travel. I do, so does my husband and my daughter too. But we all rarely go out together. We changed this when we went to Goa on a short holiday in April. We landed at the airport, we stayed at the Caravela Beach Resort and we went back to...

It turned out to be a long break from blogging! All my breaks are unintentional though. Before I start on my fabulous experience of having a high tea at the Rambagh Palace, Jaipur I need to get two things out of the way, actually three. One I need to make peace with tennis travel as that is all I get to do these days. My daughter plays tennis and it is my job to take her from tournament to tournament. Three, I have always declared when I have bee ..read more

I had the pleasure of interacting with Ilaan Garware, a class 12th student with IB board. Along with his schoolmates, he has launched the Youth Historical Foundation Maharashtra, a body aimed at kindling a profound appreciation for Maharashtra’s rich heritage and culture among the younger generation.

It is the past, it is irrelevant. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Without history, we lose our sense of identi ..read more

Chhavi and I often travel to Jaipur for Tennis Tournaments. It is one of the venues that I like going to. I try to make a mini holiday out of it. One afternoon we were looking for a new place to go for lunch. We opened a website that had many restaurant recommendations in Jaipur. She put her hand on a blue looking restaurant called Cinnamon.
I looked at the address and it clearly said Jai Mahal Palace. I somehow thought it was a shopping complex. We booked an Uber from our hotel, Ibis Jaipur and we were on our way.
It was a short distance and soon our taxi driver said, ma’am it is going insi ..read more
