The field of eight standouts is set for the GETTRX NHRA Pro Stock All-Star Callout, as the star-studded field will compete in the marquee specialty event on Saturday, May 18 as part of the 24th annual Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK Performance at Route 66 Raceway.

With just two events remaining in the 2024 FuelTech Radial Outlaws Racing Series (RORS), Ken Quartuccio made a strong push in the Radial vs. the World points race, winning the Battle of the Thrones April 25-28 at Rockingham Dragway.
Quartuccio defeated Luis de Leon in a great side-by-side final round, with Quartuccio’s 3.545-second pass at 209.11 mph narrowly edging de Leon’s 3.565 at 208.43. Although it was Quartuccio’s third final round in four events this season, it was his first victory.

Following the wildly entertaining Charlotte Four-Wide Nationals four Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), players rose to the top of thousands of participants to win the inaugural Four-Wide Challenge. The overall scores were combined from the Las Vegas Four-Wide Nationals and the just completed Charlotte Four-Wide Nationals with Karen G. (Kbj) taking the top spot with 182.617 points followed by Zach L. (LetsGoDodgers), Austin T. (AT) and Julie B. (Jbona1) rounding out the top four. It was a memorable weekend to say the least, at zMax Dragway. Matt Hagan finally secured his 50th career win, Greg Anderson turned 104 into 105, Fernando Cuadra Sr. hung up his racing boots (and work boots too, for that matter), Bo Butner made history in Mountain Motor Pro Stock and Sean Bellemeur now ties his team owner, Tony Bartone, in NHRA National Top Alcohol Funny Car wins.
Oh, and let’s not forget about “Trickie Rickie” Smith’s domination in Competition Eliminator. Even though he’s “retired,” Smith showed up and showed out at the NHRA 4-Wide Nationals.

Randy Meyer Racing (RMR) had a whirlwind of a weekend at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals that included a trip to the sand trap, earning first and second qualifying positions, and two final round finishes.
Friday evening, the RMR Bond-Coat Top Alcohol Dragster experienced a malfunction that prevented the parachutes from deploying and driver Hunter Green was unable to slow the car to prevent a jaunt into the sand trap. Saturday’s No Prep Kings event at Virginia Motorsports Park once again made history, as Shawn Ellington – better known as Murder Nova – finally secured his first-ever Invitational win. It was a long overdue victory for one of the original Street Outlaws cast members, with the NPK series now in its seventh season.
The $30,000 win was an emotional one for Ellington, who admitted afterward that his feelings got the best of him once he got out of the car and saw his wife, Erin.
