The Panamerican Squash Federation (FPS) is thrilled to announce that squash has been awarded a 25 percent increase in its athlete quota for the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay. The 2025 event, an international multi-sports event for athletes aged 17 to 22 in the Americas and organised by Panam Sports, will increase the squash player quota from 48 to 60. Belgium made squash history at the ESF European Team Championships in Zurich on Saturday as the formidable Gilis sisters earned the nation’s first ever title. Karlsruhe, Germany, has been announced as the host of the 13th edition of The World Games 2029, following the decision of the IWGA executive committee. The World Games is an international multi-sport competition traditionally comprising sports that are traditionally not contested in the Olympic Games. Last week, 14 aspiring female squash coaches qualified as WSF Level 1 Coaches after completing a fully funded Women In Coaching Course at Black Ball Sporting Club, Cairo. There are just three months to go until this year’s WSF World Junior Squash Championships, which are taking place in Houston Squash Club, USA, between 12-23 July.
