Do not buy these products on amazon or aliexpress. The worst part is that the products do not say that they are radioactive. There is no warning that they contain uranium or thorium or any other radioactive substance. Without testing using a geiger counter you would not know that you are exposing yourself or your child to ionizing radiation. If you’ve ever used blender you’ll know that it ..read more

Advertisements should entice you to buy a product. But they should not to lie to you. The question, when it comes to food styling, is where is the line between the truth and a lie? Is a photo of a burger true if it has all the ingredients doubled over at the front, but it is empty at the back? Imagine a photo of a glass jar of lollies, that when pictured from the front ..read more

This 200 year old “modern” mille feuille recipe looks nothing like a mille feuille that you would buy at a French patisserie today. Step back in time and see how this impressive dessert was made by Careme, French chef to the Kings. A cake of mille feuilles (a thousand leaves) meringues. The first half representing the old, and the second half the modern fashion. (illustration by Careme) Careme, one of 15 children, was abandoned by ..read more
