We’re a quarter of the way into the year, and barely even a quarter of a percent down in interest rates. The dawn of 2024 brought optimism for lower rates and a revived housing market. But now that the sun’s up and spring is in sight, it’s becoming clear that rates might largely stay put… at least for a while.
Although the market some of us hoped for hasn’t materialized yet, there have been some interesting shifts in both buyer and seller trends over the last month. The March 2024 Denver real estate market trends highlight a continued climb in willingness to list homes and a slow return ..read more

Colorado. Home of the Rocky Mountains, craft brews, and mile-high fun — if you catch the hazy drift. There are so many reasons to love the Centennial State. But, here’s one many don’t know: Colorado was the first state to enact women's voting by popular referendum and was the second state overall (just behind Wyoming where the bill was passed in state legislature). Many of the most influential women in Colorado History led the CO suffrage movement, advanced medicine, championed the civil rights movement, and spearheaded arts programs for generations to come. The homebuyer and seller stalemate held strong for most of 2023 with experts largely predicting that early 2024 would bring a drop in mortgage loan interest rates. This rate reduction, they hypothesized, would motivate buyers to step into the ring with a subsequent easing of seller concerns about letting go of their current home loan. No one thought that pent up supply would beat pent up demand to the punch. But here we are, with listings making a strong comeback while buyers continue to bide their time.

Announcing our 2024 Live & Give Program Recipients!
Our Live & Give program was created in 2014 in response to requests from our agents to have a voice in who the company supports while also offering a way to help a variety of causes over the years. We believe in the strength of our community and in using our success to give back to those in need. So, each year our real estate agents nominate their favorite local charities and passionately plead their cases to their fellow agents to garner their votes. It's never an easy choice with so many worthy local causes, but in the end, just a f ..read more

2023 went out the same way it came in — with home prices stabilizing and listings spending more days on the market. These trends point to more future balance in the buyer and seller power dynamic and hint at excitement on the horizon for a more forgiving real estate environment.
But let’s not forget, in November, some more good news bubbled up (or down). After more than a year of steady interest rate hikes, rates finally dipped. As we head into a new year, the future for Denver homebuyers and homeowners looks bright. According to the Denver Metro Association of Realtors (DMAR), real estate age ..read more
