The Plant Life quilt is finished!! I am loving it so much. I designed this quilt about a year and a half ago when I was submitting the proposal for my Leafy Keen fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs. For 18 months this quilt has been at the back of my mind and now finally its real! Each plant has a name and each plant is made up of the same size half square triangles. It may seem like a lot of triangles but they go fast and before you know it you are assembling plant blocks! You can purchase the pattern in my Etsy shop by clicking HERE. I used fabrics from Leafy Keen, my newest fabr ..read more

I love buying precuts – especially 5″ squares. I love all the different patterns using precut – but sometimes I just want something easy where I can just sew the squares together. The precut squares I used are from the Carnaby Collection by Liberty Fabrics for Riley Blake Designs. You can use any collection or even scraps! This pattern lets you sew the 5″ squares together without having to trim or square up. You can make it totally scrappy and random. The sashing adds interest and spacing to accent the fabrics you’ve chosen! The finished quilt is 73″ x 86″ which makes it the perfect size f ..read more

I try and make at least one new Christmas quilt every year. One of my favorite things about decorating is getting out all the Christmas quilts I’ve made over the years! I used my Scrappy Charm quilt pattern and used all my Christmas fabric scraps and made this fun throw quilt! So essentially you can make this with what’s in your stash! The scrappier the happier!!! The quilt measures 64″ square but you could easily add more rows to make it larger. I put plaid flannel on the back so it’s super cozy! You can find the pattern in PDF of Paper in my Etsy shop ..read more

Make sure to pick up a copy of the Winter 2022 Quilts & More magazine!!!!! I am super excited to be a Scrap Lab designer! If you don’t know what that is, Quilts & More sends a curated bundle of fabric and then a sewing prompt and the Scrap Lab designers design a project for publication! This issue we received a beautiful bundle by Riley Blake Designs and I was asked to make a table runner. My runner was inspired by the lovely florals in the fabric collection Primrose Hill by Melanie Collette of Hello Melly Designs. You can get all the patterns for the wallhanging, the pillows and the ..read more
