The average lead time for accommodation bookings has increased 13% year-on-year to 83 days for the coming London Marathon weekend, according to data from SiteMinder. The lead time for the upcoming weekend is also 46% longer than the weekend immediately prior. Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has revealed that during 2023 it introduced a record nine brands into new countries, signed 107 franchise agreements, opened 87 hotels, and added 9,500 rooms across EMEA.
