London hotels see advance bookings surge ahead of Marathon

The average lead time for accommodation bookings has increased 13% year-on-year to 83 days for the coming London Marathon weekend, according to data from SiteMinder. The lead time for the upcoming weekend is also 46% longer than the weekend immediately prior. The Borrowdale Gates Hotel in Lake District has refurbished its central areas and all 32 rooms and suites following a seven-figure investment. The transformation was undertaken by the Borrowdale Gates Hotel team alongside hotel management company Providence Hotels. Yotel has announced that it is set to open Yotelpad Stratford on 1 June, the first Yotelpad in the European market. The site will offer 62 pads, each offering multi-functional live, work and sleep areas, bathrooms and kitchenettes. Wyndham achieves milestone growth across EMEA in 2023

Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has revealed that during 2023 it introduced a record nine brands into new countries, signed 107 franchise agreements, opened 87 hotels, and added 9,500 rooms across EMEA.
