The second call of TEPPIES (Textile Project Proposal Information Exchange System) 2021 targeting the 2022 work programme topics of the Horizon Europe programme is out!
Today all Textile ETP Members received an overview of the work programme topics that have relevance for textile innovation, in order to come up with project ideas that they can present at the brokerage event in November, which provides an opportunity to team up with other Textile ETP members, forming valuable partnerships to apply for the programme together.

The 2021 edition of our Annual Conference has just closed! We are glad about the very good participation during these both days, we counted around 140+ participants on day 1 and 130+ on day 2.

This year, our Annual Conference will take place online on 28 and 29 September, from 14.00 to 17.30 (CET). The first day will be dedicated to Research & Innovation Trends & EU Funding Opportunities in Functional and smart materials & Digitalisation. More than 80 members joined our General Assembly on Monday, June 21st. It was a great moment of sharing 2020 achievements and 2021 initiatives such as the Strategic Programmes on Circular Economy and Biobased Fibres and the Smart Textiles Masterclass.

This week, the European Commission officially published the Horizon Europe work programmes for 2021-22. The first calls are expected to be published next week.
As usual, we facilitate the establishment of strong, international project consortia through the TEPPIES (TExtile Project Proposal Information Exchange System). The TEPPIES are the Textile ETP brokerage system that allows our members to find valuable partners for their project ideas.

58 organisations and more than 210 professionals participated in the 6-month exploration phase of the two programmes. This first phase ended and we are now assessing the feedback received from the participants, which particularly appreciated the state-of-the-art presentatations.
