Hello, Gemma here to share a card with the Party Balloons die set. I began by die cutting balloons from gold, white, green and pink card. I created three balloons, layering pieces together for the star patterned balloons, then adding the strings. On an A2 card base, I adhered a piece of light green patterned paper. I added a sentiment, using the Happy Birthday Shadow die set and the Birthday Scripts stamp set. Next, I adhered the three balloons to the card, along with an additional sentiment banner attached to one of the balloons. To create the banner, I first embossed a sentiment in gold f ..read more

Hello crafty friends! It’s June again, and today I’m back with a fun shaker card! I had a specific color palette in mind for this card, which was aqua-green-brown. I started off by cutting out the Butterfly Shaker Die and giving it some color. I went with both the aqua and green to make it as colorful as possible. I used the Distress Oxide colors Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron for this. I also added some white splatters with thinned out acrylic paint to add some detail. For the back piece of my shaker I used the same colors, but with a very light hand. I put mostly Pastel P ..read more

Apple Thank You Cards

Hi friends! It’s Zsofi here today and I am sharing a simple but stunning teacher appreciation card idea with some older favorites. I love when a design can work in various colours and this one would look stunning in yellow and green too! First I used the Layered Apples stencil on Bristol Smooth cardstock with Distress Oxide inks. For the first layer I used Candied Apple for the red and Seedless Preserves for the purple. I made sure to fade out the colours towards the right lower corner simply by using less ink and a lighter hand. I find blending brushes easier to use for this technique ..read more

Hello, Gemma here today sharing a card made with the Birthday Train stamp set. This stamp set is an add-on to the Valentine Train stamp set, which has the train engine and track. I stamped out images from the Birthday Train and Valentine Train stamp sets, then coloured them with copic markers. I kept the colour palette to blues, oranges and greys, with the addition of brown for the cake. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out. Copic colours Engine & carriages: B91-97, C1-7, B000-00 Track & connectors: N3-5 Clouds: N0-1 Cake & presents: YR14-16, Y13-17, B91-95, E31-34 ..read more

**All items in the Spring section are 15% off during theme week** Hello crafty friends! Davina here, buzzing by with a Spring themed mini slimline card. I used several cute Pretty Pink Posh products, new and older, to make this sweet little scene.  I started by selectively cutting the largest Slimline Scallop Frames Die to get the proportions I wanted. I like to make my mini slimline cards 6.5 x 3.5 in dimension. Which is only 2 inches shorter than a standard slimline card. This frame die is only 8 x 3, so I will trim it to 6 x 3, then add a backg ..read more

**All items in the Spring section are 15% off during theme week** Hello everyone, it’s June here and today I’m back on the blog with some card inspiration! When I’m not feeling very inspired I always start off my cards the same way: I stamp some images I want to use, make a cluster in the center of my card and blend a cute stenciled background to go with it. And somehow, that simple formula always results in my favorite cards. It can actually be that simple! But sometimes I feel like I need to mix it up a bit and that’s exactly what I tried for today’s card.  Instead ..read more
