Hi crafty friends!  Welcome to the blog today.  I'm back with another card I made using only three dies.  To create this background I used the Margarita Border die.  I cut it twice out of a soft gray paper, glued it to white card stock and then cut the edges.  The light blue base card is A2 size.  For a little extra punch of color I added a layer of dark gray card stock in between.       The same dark gray was used to cut out the Thank You Circle which I glued to the Mandela Doily 2.  I popped the doily up using foam tape and then added glitter glue to all the points as well as the outside o ..read more

Hi Cheery Lynn Fans, it's JULIE here and today I am sharing some inspiration using a selection of our Love themed Dies on my Vintage styled Valentine card. I started by cutting out my Heart Stackers for the base of my card adding a couple of tattered layers. My centre heart doily and sentiment were both shadow layered to help them pop against my patterned paper. I also added some cheesecloth behind my Lovebirds image which I coloured with a little Sugar Spun Distress Stain. My flowers were all shaped with Embossing tools on my mat.  Hello and Happy New Year!  It's so cold here in NY and I've been dreaming of sun.  I was planning on using these crocs to create a mardi gras card but my idea just wasn't coming together.  Instead I changed gears and made this instead.     The card is an A2 size.  I stamped celebrate and cut it out using the tag die.  The tag was glued to black card stock and the black mat was hand cut.  The tag and the top light blue panel were popped up using foam adhesive to add dimension.  All the die cuts were colored using distress ink.  I added black rhinestones for eyes.   Cheery Lynn DiesWhimsical ..read more
