Days are cooler. Halloween is over. Thanksgiving looms down the line. How about a blanket, a candle, some take-out food, and a movie marathon? chinese take-out The fun thing about Chinese take-out is the combos you can make on your plate. Some things you can use your hands, others chopsticks, maybe a fork. Food is already politely bite-sized so a knife is rarely necessary.   I have been very blessed to know some amazing bloggers, but one who was very dear to my heart was my good friend, John Wolfe. He would begin early in the year designing elaborate home haunts and sharing on video how he went about designing them. He did lots of volunteer work and was always available for anyone. He sought to understand the spiritual and the other side. In fact, as he was dying, he said he would contact me through EVPs. And, he asked me to write his memorial which I did and he ..read more

Ghost Hunting Theories

It's hard to believe that a TV series meant to be unsettling and scary could actually make an episode that after airing was considered too scary and not shown again. Leave it to "X-Files" to come up with just that episode! The plot  seems straightforward enough. On October 11, 1996 the "X-Files" new episode was entitled, "Home."  It was about an inbred family of feral men live in a farm in rural Pennsylvania. When a kid is found dead in the area, the investigators come in to see what happened.  When they investigate the odd Peacock family in the farmhouse, they ..read more

Like a scene out of "Trick R Treat," in 2015, a woman's body was a victim of murder and misunderstanding on Halloween Night.  A woman was brutally beaten at Halloween time. She tried to scramble over the fence, got caught on it and subsequently died.  It wasn't until a construction worker went by and needed to move the prop that he found out it was a real woman. As if this wasn't tragic enough, she had been beaten by a man with a large rock. The victim was said to have learning disabilities and was vulnerable and gullible.  This sort of event puts Halloween into pers ..read more
