Hey Crafty Friends,  It's Conny here and today we are focusing on Shakers and DIY Snow Globes. For my project, I used the Bunny Hop Collection and focused on the florals and one of my favorite photos of Savanna. Her birthday is coming I wanted to make her something special.  Let's get started! First, I printed a 4" x 6" photo. Then, I traced a circle on the photo using the Snow Globe backing, trimmed it using scissors, and added florals from the bits and pieces.  Some of the florals were glued directly to the background, while others were placed on foam double-sided adhesiv ..read more

Sometimes a product comes along that you didn't know you needed in your crafty life until it is in your hands. You stare it down, put it to work and then quickly realize...there is no going back. That, my crafty friends, happens to be the exact experience I had with Doodlebug's new Shakers. These amazing little spheres have me going gaga! I had no idea I was going to love them as much as I do.      You see, I love to make paper flowers. And I am always looking for ways to add definition and texture to the flowers. Take this set of flowers that I created with Doodlebug's Thank ..read more

Hey friends! Brianna here with you today and if you've been following me for a while, you know I LOVE to make shakers! Give me anything and I'll make a shaker out of it. So of course when Doodlebug released the adorable Shakers, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I was so excited to work with the Snow Globe and turn it into Easter decor. Here's what I created: To start, I traced the inside the of the glass globe on a piece of white paper and cut it out. I then traced it again on a piece of thicker white cardstock to use as my base. Once that was trimmed out, I took the spring sprouts pa ..read more

What is not to love about the new Doodlebug shakers?! I mean there are so many possibilities to use these! You have seen the Doodle Shaker Pops right? Well now you can create your very own shaker pops or cards or whatever you want! I decided to create a snow globe using the new DIY Snow Globe kit, the Snow Much Fun collection and of course the new shakers! Firstly I created a scene on the back piece of the globe by adding a sheet of patterned paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad and then layered the Let It Snow acetate over the top. To create the scene I took pieces from the Odds and Ends ephe ..read more

Hi there crafty friends! It was so much fun getting to play with the brand-new D.I.Y Snow Globes this month! I don't know about you, but it has been a little dreary in my neck of the woods and I knew I wanted to brighten things up so I used the super bright and happy "Over the Rainbow" collection and a few Doodle Pops from the "Bunny Hop" collection to create this fun little gift ensemble which includes a snow globe, a cute shaker lid container, and a whimsical Tag Flip! Making charms is one of my favorite activities, especially when they're made with beautiful  Doodlebug products!  Today I made one using the Bunny Basket Doodle Cuts.  I cut several layers of foam and cardstock to give height and stability. I placed Shakers in mint and Spring Flowers Shaped Shakers to give more fun to my project and the result is beautiful! I love the new Shakers! To decorate, I used some Bunny Hop Chit Chats and Puffy Icon Stickers to give shine to my project. I added crimped beads to a chain to make the keychain and add one more pendant to make it eve ..read more
