As you know, I love hotel rooms! And it’s been a couple months or so since I showed you any of the hotels I’ve stayed in. So I thought I’d show you a little of this one. We’ve stayed in this hotel near the Ventura cat show several times, and my human swears that we’ve been in this specific room before. You can see how happy I am here. I was so happy to be at the Ventura cat show this past weekend! I didn’t get to wear as many clothes as I’d brought (in fact, the show ended a little earlier than I expected). But I did make sure to wear this one. And it was pretty rainy in the afternoon. Even though I stayed inside where it was dry (except when we had to leave and I was in my carrier), I wore my raincoat for a bit. It’s time for my weekly outtakes, and I have some pretty silly poses for you this time! I’m surprised this didn’t wind up in the original blog post this photo session was for! But the truth is, even the most clueless cat lover knows better than to shake hands with me and not let go of my paw. Remember a few weeks ago, I tried doing a modeling session in this corner of the backyard and got interrupted? My human and I decided to try again, since it’s got such nice lighting. We actually got a few good shots! But there I was, posing for a profile shot, when I noticed something. Yep, we were being spied on! For one of my posts this week, my human wanted to get some photos of me looking annoyed about being touched by human hands. That was a difficult task for me, since I love human touch! Especially tummy rubs. I can’t get enough of them, which I guess is pretty obvious. I’m just not one of those cats who will bring out the claws of doom when someone touches my tummy. I’ve got a cat show back in Ventura this Saturday! It’ll be the third time I’ve been to this location, and I like it a lot. The only problem this time: it’s going to be rainy, and kind of cold. But I wanted to wear some spring dresses, so I chose the ones with thicker material. Like this red and white striped dress for example. And this cute dress. I like the tulle petticoat underneath the skirt and I don’t remember the last time I wore it to a cat show. I don’t know if I’ll get to wear this dress. It might be too cold. I do my best at all my therapy cat visits, but some days go even better than that, and this week’s visit to the children’s hospital was one of them. I purred almost nonstop the whole time I was there, and I gave out lots of high fives and even a few head butts. We first stopped up in surgery where a little boy looked like he was waiting for prep. The peach kitty came around over the weekend! In fact he showed up first thing before my human even got to sit down at her computer. He’s always happy to see me. But sometimes he looks at my human like she’s an unwanted chaperone. Which I guess in his world she is. But when she brings out the treats, he’s right there. He kind of has to be or I’ll eat them!
