Monday, April 8th, 2024, is going to be a crazy day in Austin. A total solar eclipse will be visible throughout North America and Austin and its surrounding areas are in the path of totality. The partial eclipse begins at 12:17 p.m. and the total eclipse (when it’s safe to actually look up without the special glasses) at 1:36 p.m. and last for two minutes.
