The Honda Vezel hits its highest ranking in almost 10 years. New vehicle sales in Japan slow down their fall in April at -11.2% year-on-year to 310,346 units. VW Polo sales are up 282.6% in April. New car sales in the UK mark 21 consecutive months of year-on-year gains in April, but just: volumes are up 1% year-on-year to 134,274 units. Hyundai Kona sales are up 152% in April. According to estimates by local consultancy DesRosiers Automotive, the Canadian new light vehicle market is up 14% year-on-year to an estimated 164,000 units, yet still below the 180,000+ units secured before the pandemic.
