Keeping more of than an ear out on this development. Studied Russian in high school and college and spent three weeks in the USSR summer of 1988. Four of those days were in Kiev, now Kyiv. This is not good and certainly hope the US stays out of the direct line of fire. On the other hand, what is the proper and ethical response of nations looking from the outside at an invasion of a sovereign country? Certainly is not the only one that has occurred in the lifetime of the US which has chosen...

This one's for you RJ
This is the chance for Cyburban wine drinkers, aficionados and booze hounds alike, to discus wine. Tell us about your favorites, relay the news of a good wine find or just tell wine related stories. This is our new place in the urban web for all things relating to the fruit of the vine. That is, if the mods think it’s appropriate.

Thanks ..read more

We're busting at the seams and have finally convinced the powers that be that we need more space and a better layout. Right now every file room, storage room, copy room, or closet has someone on it. My office has all of our files stacked on shelving in boxes.
We're an office of six right now (director, asst. director, planner, planning tech, historic/CDBG person, and ADA. I'm planning space for at least three additional fulltime positions. I know I want a nice conference room for...
