DENVER (KDVR) — Denver advanced as one of the 10 worldwide cities that could host the Gay Games sports competition in 2030. The Federation of Gay Games announced that 10 cities across five continents are still in the bid to host Gay Games XIII, and Denver is the sole U.S. city listed. BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) -- A cement manufacturer said they’re disappointed after Boulder County took action to terminate its right to operate the Lyons cement plant.  The company, Cemex, is now calling for the decision to be reversed. DENVER (KDVR) — It took about an hour for school personnel to contact police after a kidnapping attempt at Black Forest Hills Elementary, according to an investigative report released Friday, which lays out the "clear missteps" in the response that ultimately led to the principal's firing. DENVER (KDVR) — Gov. Jared Polis signed a bill into law that proponents say will spur more housing across the state through the elimination of parking mandates. Until now, all new housing in Colorado, including multi-family developments, had minimum parking requirements.
