I'm an NZ citizen and my wife is here on a partnership work visa (due to expire in August 24). Her daughter is also here on a dependant of a work visa holder visitor visa (due to expire 30 May 24). I have applied for residence for both of them, however I have now been told that in order for them to remain in NZ until the outcome of the residence application, I will have to apply for 2 new visas for both of them. Hi I 'm in smc job search visa wich is going to be expired in weeks time. I found a job and have sent all relevant documents to my case officer. The paper based documents which are sent to my co are still not yet received to my co's desk. Hi, my parents citizenship application is finally selected to be processed. We have had DIA reach out to them to verify personal details, documents, etc. My father pretty much has the greenlight. My mother however has been requested to do an English Assessment. Can anyone advise how can she prepare for this? In the worst case scenario, what happens if she does not pass the assessment? Does that mean she will be declined the citizenship application? Or will DIA approve the citizenship conditionally that she pays for English lessons?
