My journey with ZOE so far

I’ve wanted to do ZOE for a couple of years now. I liked the idea of getting insights into my health and the way my own body was responding to food but it’s a lot of money to spend so I’ve clicked on the ad links and gone through to the payment part two or three times and then backed out. In March this year I was finally ready to go for it. I’ve been really struggling to find balance with my food. I’ve been really driven by sugar cravings recently and just could not get out of the cycle. I was feeling unwell in my body and knew my eating habits were playing a part but I didn’t really know what ..read more

How I have been shifting my morning routine towards more restful practices this winter I am usually a really early riser. As someone who doesn’t have children and works from home, I’m lucky I have time to myself in the morning. When I was single and living in my flat in Folkestone, I would often get up at 5 in the morning. I used to love those early morning hours doing prayer, meditation, drawing and yoga with my gorgeous view of the sea. Ever since I first tried the BYONIK back in 2018, it has become one of my favourite treatments. When I worked in London as editor of Aesthetic Medicine magazine I used to get to try amazing new treatments and technologies like this all the time but since moving back to Kent and with a pandemic closing everything down for a while it felt like an age since I’d been able to go for a treatment. And my skin missed it! So, when Pure Swiss Aesthetics, https://pureswissaesthetics.com the company who distribute BYONIK in the UK, told me they had an amazing woman in Faversham – only a short drive from m ..read more

I really felt at odds with myself yesterday. I’m still grieving my dad and I’ve had three periods in the last five weeks which means I’ve been constantly bleeding and bloated. It’s getting my down and I just feel like a balloon with legs. I don’t know about you but I really struggle to look after myself properly when I feel shit. I don’t know why that is, as that’s the time I most need it, but I seem to always feed the crappy feeling rather than nourish myself. Something I’m working on. What I probably needed was a week away resting, reading and eating lots of green things but we been away on ..read more
