This past weekend I finally got out of the studio and into nature for my first time painting outdoors. This past weekend, on Sunday, October 1st, I participated in my first gallery exhibit with The Guild of Charlotte Artists. Over 50 artists submitted work and more than 100 pieces were displayed and judged. I had the pleasure to receive an Honorable Mention award for my painting Avoid Going Right.
