Thank you for popping by today, I'm so happy with this card for the STAMPING SUNDAY BLOG HOP The theme this month is "The Weather Man", I decided to choose a rainbow theme as a link to weather.  We get to enjoy some wonderful rainbows here in Mid Wales, the prevalence of the regular rain helps with that!  I grabbed some card strips from my scrap pile and ran through the Timber 3D embossing folder after dousing it with Basic Gray Ink. The colours I used were Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushell, Berry Burst, Melon Mambo and Pretty in ..read more

This month's theme is Heart and Home One of the new Saleabration freeebies seemed perfect, it's stamp and die set and is free when yo spend £110 (easy to do with all the lovely new goodies that are available) I pa ..read more

Stamped Spring Wreath using Two-Toned Flora
Artful Stampin Stamp

I had so much fun stamping this wreath, especially as there are some colours that are returning in the upcoming colour refresh.  It was stamped on to 12x12 basic white card. This tends to happen every few years, where Stampin' Up! shake up their core colours.  They get rid of some, welcome some new ones back and say hello to some new ones. In the list below I have put and R next to returning colours, and an N next to brand new ones. INK COLOURS R Fresh Freesia 155611 N Bubble Bath 161664 Highland Heather 147103 Balmy Blue 147105 R Lost Lagoon 161678 Mossy Meadow 147111 Granny A ..read more

Hi there, we have been enjoying/enduring some hotter days here in the UK, and have recently got back from a holiday with family and friends. While I was away I scheduled some videos on my YouTube channel, including one where I made these cards with Stampin' Up! products. I made the black and white paper "ribbon" using the glimmer paper in the July to December 2022 mini catalogue.  Unfortunately I used a couple of embossing folders that have retired.  However we have plenty of others to choose from, and many designs would work on a card like this. The initial idea was inspired by t ..read more

Well hello my lovely cardmakers out there, welcome to the Blog Hop for March, this month we were asked to CASE each other. To CASE in crafting community can mean different things - Copy and Share Everything, Copy and Selectively Edit, Copy and Steal Everything, obviously I prefer the first 2 to the last one.  I love to credit those who have inspired me.  As someone wisely said, "there is nothing new under the sun".  All our art and creations have been influenced and inspired by others.  Even when we think we have hit on an original idea, you may discover that someone else ..read more

HILLS OF TUSCANY meets GARDEN MEADOW artfulstampin style!

I loved the results of this experiment that I just had to share it with you! Mixing stamp sets together comes really naturally to me as I have learned to appreciate the infinite potential of doing this.  However I am aware that I don't want to overwhelm my viewers and readers with too many choices. I think these cards prove a happy medium. I use just two stamp sets; Hills of Tuscany 162682 and Garden Meadow 162736, or in this case Jardin Des Pres.  I was accidently sent the stamp set and Stampin' Up! were kind enough to let me keep it. The ink pads I used were Early Espresso, P ..read more

Hello and welcome to this month's hop with the theme Whimsical Wings and Soaring Hearts I'm going to go straight to it and present my card... I used the Bee Mine Designed Series Paper that is from the current Mini Catalogue and went a bit grungy on it with the Pecan Pie ink - which is awesome for that vintage look. The heart was created with triangles from the Patchwork Pieces Dies set 161592 and the Flowers and leaves from the Paper Florist Dies set 161284. The lovely butterfly wings are already precut and in the Paper Butterfly Accents 162612 To view how I made it watch this. Pl ..read more
