Whether you're a seasoned crafter or just starting out, there's always something new to explore in the world of card making and scrapbooking. Hi there, we have been enjoying/enduring some hotter days here in the UK, and have recently got back from a holiday with family and friends. While I was away I scheduled some videos on my YouTube channel, including one where I made these cards with Stampin' Up! products. I made the black and white paper "ribbon" using the glimmer paper in the July to December 2022 mini catalogue.  Unfortunately I used a couple of embossing folders that have retired.  However we have plenty of others to choose from, and many designs would work on a card like this. The initial idea was inspired by t ..read more

Well hello my lovely cardmakers out there, welcome to the Blog Hop for March, this month we were asked to CASE each other. To CASE in crafting community can mean different things - Copy and Share Everything, Copy and Selectively Edit, Copy and Steal Everything, obviously I prefer the first 2 to the last one.  I love to credit those who have inspired me.  As someone wisely said, "there is nothing new under the sun".  All our art and creations have been influenced and inspired by others.  Even when we think we have hit on an original idea, you may discover that someone else ..read more

HILLS OF TUSCANY meets GARDEN MEADOW artfulstampin style!

I loved the results of this experiment that I just had to share it with you! Mixing stamp sets together comes really naturally to me as I have learned to appreciate the infinite potential of doing this.  However I am aware that I don't want to overwhelm my viewers and readers with too many choices. I think these cards prove a happy medium. I use just two stamp sets; Hills of Tuscany 162682 and Garden Meadow 162736, or in this case Jardin Des Pres.  I was accidently sent the stamp set and Stampin' Up! were kind enough to let me keep it. The ink pads I used were Early Espresso, P ..read more

Hello and welcome to this month's hop with the theme Whimsical Wings and Soaring Hearts I'm going to go straight to it and present my card... I used the Bee Mine Designed Series Paper that is from the current Mini Catalogue and went a bit grungy on it with the Pecan Pie ink - which is awesome for that vintage look. The heart was created with triangles from the Patchwork Pieces Dies set 161592 and the Flowers and leaves from the Paper Florist Dies set 161284. The lovely butterfly wings are already precut and in the Paper Butterfly Accents 162612 To view how I made it watch this. Pl ..read more

Hello, and a Happy 2024 to you. The end of a year and the beginning of a new one often gives me time to reflect and think about ways to improve myself, and the processes I use in my life.  I am already pleased to announce that one of those changes has already been implemented and seems to be working, and already helpful to myself and my customers.  I have enlisted the help of an online website to help with booking my online classes.   You can see what I have on offer and be able to book on here. But wait! That's not all... I am constantly designing cards, I run a month ..read more

Hi there and welcome, today I have a quick little project to make a fab little stocking filler gift.   This gorgeous Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! totally has my heart, it is packed with stunning florals in really pretty colour schemes suitable for lots of occasions.  It comes in 6" x 6" which is the perfect size for this project.  It's called Garden walk and the code for it is 162227. This little box easily holds a couple of tea lights - I'm mostly loving the scented ones from Aldi at the moment!  I teamed the floral paper with one from the Fresh as ..read more

Hellooooo, happy September! How is yours going? We've had a few changes with eldest son returning home from Uni, currently on a quest to find work - also engaged! Eeek Mother in Law life starting next year.  Then Son no 2 has flown the nest to start Uni, studying Primary education. In the craft studio I finally got round to ordering a beautiful sea themed stamp set.  The art work is so detailed, it's a massive reminder of why I love stamping, I can create or demonstrate in seconds what would take me hours to do with a pen. It's called Beauty of the Deep by Stampin' Up! I though ..read more

Hi and welcome to the... blog hop. My apologies for a long abscence.  A special hello if you have arrived here via the fabulous Mikaela's blog. The theme of "You've been Framed" helped me create this masculine style card by using a couple of the deckle edged rectangles and using them to cut a frame. The background was stamped with a variety of images from Gorgeously Made 161193 and Watercolor World 160708, the bold Happy Birthday was stamped using Biggest Wish 155052 If you would like to watch my creative process, have a look at this video here. Thank you so much for stopping b ..read more

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop This month we are featuring current products in a couple of projects. I've choosen to focus on these pretty papers 161139, and the retiring daisy punch 149517. I wanted to show off the papers so designed a box bag and then decorated it using punch outs from the Daisy Punch and the Bough Punch 157711 It was so much fun to mix 3 ribbons together. I used Pool Party Sheer ribbon 152462, White Seam Binding (sorry think it's sold out in Europe) and some retired Soft Sea Foam ribbon, I've finished the centres with 3 pearls. Here is a square card us ..read more
