From November 14 – 19, the 3rd edition of the Caribbean Sports Week will take place on Curaçao! This week is all about sports in the Caribbean, with a focus on family sports. The aim of the event is to transfer knowledge, expand contacts and establish collaborations. Finally, this event contributes to positioning the Caribbean as an ideal hub to South, Central and North America, especially towards the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.

The Dutch national team will play its first soccer match for UEFA EURO 2024 at the Volksparkstadion in Hamburg on June 16th. On that day as many as 50,000 “Oranje fans” are expected!

From 17 to 23 May, a factfinding visit will take place to Brisbane, Australia. This factfinding visit is dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2032 and is the first activity in a multi-year planning from OSF towards Brisbane 2032.
In the run-up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, various infrastructure projects are being carried out, including the construction of 6 new venues and the renovation of 8 existing venues worth $7.1 billion. In addition, the Brisbane 2032 Games are the first Games to be organised in a climate-neutral way.
