how does change happen?
Hello! Join me this month for this short and sweet video invitation to cultivate compassion for yourself as you take steps towards change in your life.
Just to keep it real for a moment, change isn’t ‘easy’. Our brain will actually do everything it can to continue doing what is known, and thwart all efforts to do something new. So no, it’s not just you that has a hard time ‘doing what you want’.
The key to making lasting change is crafting a daily self-care practice that is tangible, will have an impact over time, and is simple enough that you will most likely do it eve ..read more

Taking Care of Yourself as a New Mom
As a new mama it can be all too easy to put yourself at the bottom of your to-do list, and before you know it you haven’t showered, called a friend, or taken a moment to check in with yourself in days.
You matter mama.
I want to invite you to put yourself first. One step at a time. Each and every day.
I suggest dedicating yourself to a daily 1-minute self care practice. If you do more, great, but no pressure. As you learn to carve out space for yourself each day, over time you will be able to take more and more space. There’s no rush.
Self-care for new moms ..read more

What is Toxic Positivity?
Hello! Join me this month as I talk about toxic positivity and how to practice loving yourself no matter what.
To be clear, our brain does have a negativity bias and we do need to actively seek out the positive and practice gratitude...
Toxic positivity is something else entirely.
If we practice only seeking the positive and feel good experiences we risk burying the shadowy parts that make us human. The fear, pain and heartache. And when buried, these parts don't disappear or live in the past, they fester and breed and show up in our relationships whether we want them ..read more

Navigating the Holidays
The holiday season can be a time for celebration, gratitude, family, and community. However, it's not always easy to feel grateful and happy, especially if you're dealing with grief, loss and the state of our world.
