A few days before election day. Another change in the Kerr County Elections Department. Citing health reasons, Interim County Clerk Ian Collum has resigned. He was appointed to the position last year after former clerk Jackie Dowdy resigned. Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly will have to appoint an interim to replace Collums replacement. I have Texas Highway Patrol updates regarding the two fatalities from Monday’s accidents on IH-10 near Comfort. A woman who was trying to divert traffic from the crash caused by a pickup and 18 wheeler was hit by another 18 wheeler who veered onto the median trying to avoid the accident. She died at the scene. She’s been identified as Cynthia Garcia Marker from Phoenix. Another fatality was truck driver Rigoberto Alejandro Rivera of San Antonio. Bandera Canyonlands Alliance provides an update on the 2 hearings between Vanderpool Management LP and the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District Tuesday in Austin. At the center of the hearings are 2 water well permits applied for by Vanderpool Management. BCRAGD reduced the amount of water that could be pumped from the wells from 200 acre feet per year to 56 acre feet per year.
