My motivation for the Wargames Blog: I guess I have been hooked on wargaming most of my life, from the time I was a little kid. At age ten my mother bought me a book that got me hooked on wargaming. This site was created at least initially to introduce new wargamers or prospective war gamers to the hobby. I am also hoping shortly to include articles from other gamers and perhaps add a forum..

Meanwhile on the left flank, the mounted infantry took some major casualties while protecting the truck convoy. The two left flank infantry companies did a fine job of flushing the enemy out of the many nooks and crannies. In fact the gallant lieutenant Pierre ‘Biftek’ LeBeouf single handedly dispatched 6 of the enemy and was the sole survivor of his command.
Meanwhile at the end of the road are massed native infantry and cavalry determined to stop the legion in their tracks! If the legion can not exit with the trucks by the end of turn 8 all shall be lost ..read more
