All are welcome … we really mean it! Although Camp Bishopswood serves our youth during its regular season, Summer Finale is a time when everyone joins the fun! That means households or individuals, that means friends and family, and that means YOU, whoever you are! From check in at 5 p.m. on Friday, September 13 and an optional dinner on Friday night to a farewell breakfast on the morning of Sunday, September 15, you are invited to spend the weekend with us. There is a day-only option on Saturday, September 14 which includes lunch.

Catherine Mansir of Christ Church, Gardiner was one of eighteen young people from every province in The Episcopal Church who served as the Official Youth Presence for the 81st General Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. The Official Youth Presence was established by the 1982 General Convention; members have had seat and voice in the House of Deputies since 1997. Persis Laverack, a longtime member of one of our summer chapels, Church of the Redeemer in Sorrento, shares her views on the importance of providing financial support for summer chapels.
The Church of the Redeemer in Sorrento was founded by Eva Smith Cochran and built around 1889. Worship with them each Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. during July and August at 60 Bay View Avenue. All are welcome!
