The power of the good news of Jesus demands a response in those who hear it and accept it. And that is just what we’ve seen recently as people choose to be baptized as a sign of their commitment to live with Jesus as king of their lives. Six people were baptized at the end of services on July 7th. Here are their baptism stories in their own words.

One day my sister Ellie came to me mentioning a new church she had found, and how much she loved it. At the time, I sort of let it go in one ear and out the other as I was someone who did not think about religion much, was very science-based ..read more

Summer thunderstorms may have cancelled the picnic, but after our morning services, we gathered at Crescent Park before the rain, and 15 people professed their commitment to Jesus and were baptized. We praise God for how He is at work among us, changing lives and bring freedom by the power of His Spirit. We invite you to read their baptism stories in their own words in this post.

BridgePointe was started over 10 years ago to bring the renewal of Jesus to the world around us by making disciples in relationships. We have witnessed God doing incredible work through our BP Family. We always knew that it would take more than one church to realize that vision. New churches are the best way to reach new people in new places. So, we hoped we would become a church that would start more churches in Rhode Island and beyond.
After much prayer, planning, preparation and waiting on God’s timing, on May 5 we announced that BridgePointe will be sending Keith Cabral to start a n ..read more

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along ..read more
