Autism New Jersey collaborated with Wyndham Corporation on April 17th to celebrate individuals with autism and their families. Autism New Jersey Executive Director, Dr. Suzanne Buchanan, and Family Wellness Director, Amy Golden, M.S., BCBA, and Certified Health and Well-Being Coach, kicked off the day with a workshop called "Taking Care of Yourself as a Caregiver."

At Riverside School in Princeton, NJ, everyone is coming together to celebrate National Autism Acceptance Month this April!
The entire school community, including students, teachers, and the PTO, collaborated to create special t-shirts for the month. They chose the theme "Make It Personal" from Autism New Jersey’s Ambassador Program and designed activities for students to participate in. Each grade has its own writing topic, where students can share personal stories about their experiences with people who have developmental disabilities, whether at school, home, or in the community. On April 10, Joliza Pucci held the first Au-Some for a Cause Zumba event.
The special fun-filled event had attendees grooving, partying, and sweating in an online Zumba classes lead by amazing fitness instructors from around the world.
Three classes were held to engage Zumba fans of all ages and skill level.
“My heart is full! The first Au-Some for a Cause Zumba event was a success and I owe it to the amazing instructors who goined me in spreading respect, acceptance and happiness.
