This Sunday we will continue our study of the city of Ephesus and the Book of Ephesians. If you haven’t watched the computer re-creation of the city of Ephesus posted on our Facebook site I encourage you to do so. During the time of Paul the city had a population of about 300,000. Considering the world population at the time was less than 300 million, Ephesus was a very large city! The Life of Moses,
Moses lived over 3,000 years ago, born into an area and culture completely foreign to us. He was adopted from a poor Jewish family into the home of an Egyptian Pharaoh. In early adulthood he committed a murder and had to flee Egypt. In the land of Midian he marries the daughter of a shepherd and spends the next 40 years as husband and shepherd.
