"That horse just needs sweaty saddle blankets" "He just needs miles with sweaty blankets" Variations of this phrase I hear all the time. Ill be honest....it makes my skin crawl when I hear it. If that horse is spending long lengths of time and effort practicing things that make him upset and things that aren't giving him more understanding or meaning, he's going to end up a worse horse after all those "sweaty saddle blankets".
