Well, I have very much neglected this blog, shame on me. I haven't written in almost two months! And boy is July shaping up to be just as busy as June was, I need to keep disciplined to be sure I don't leave my fans hanging haha. June began quite rough for me, as I finally caught Covid-19. As far as I knew I had avoided it so far, but it got me in the end. I had to stay in bed for 3 days and I had to cancel/postpone all the jobs I had lined up for that 10 days (minimum). April has been slow for me, not too many jobs coming in. I have done a handful of smaller jobs but nothing too substantial. It is a little hard to not feel discouraged at this time but all we can do it keep making connections and looking for word of mouth referrals. It is spring time so I have high hopes the weather will improve and I can get clients from the spring cleaning bug! March 2, 2022. I haven’t worked in a few days. I got sick with a stomach bug, and then took a trip to visit a friend out of state. Keeping work life balance is important still! Being sick of course I don’t want to bring germs to clients’ houses (and of course I don't feel like doing anything while sick!) but I still have to plan, and chase after the dream. This month I had the good fortune to sit down with some wonderful business ladies I know and brainstorm how we can succeed and help and support each other. One of the main things I want to focus on is trying to post more videos on my social media. Hello to all, I realized just this weekend that my summer got so busy I did not even think about this blog for three whole months! It's the first day of Spring! I am excited for the weather to get warmer and start being outside again. And I have some spring cleaning projects I hope to get started soon. I also imagine that others have spring cleaning on their mind, and that can lead to projects for me to help with! I am very hopeful this Spring will be a busy season for me.
