I installed a trench system inside my garage door and solved the floor puddle problems. Now this may not be your fix if you have wood studded shop or garage. My shop is a metal building with metal studs. This solved my issues and I hope it is something you can use to solve yours. Let me say first I apologize for not recording the fix. I had taken this planer apart multiple times and failed at figuring it out. I decided to give it one more try and just went at it. The next thing I knew I had it working. Anyway, this video contains a walk through of what I did to fix this machine. Thanks for tuning into my channel. I didn't do a voice over for the recording but will try to possibly answer some obvious questions there might be. The size of your tub and how close it is to the wall will determine a lot when making one of these. The size of mine is 12" wide, 36.5" long and 1" thick. I used 8/4 walnut which had a lot of sapwood. Before cutting any away, I wanted to mill down just enough to see the grain on each side and them make a decision about which side I wanted to be the top or show side.
