When J Cole gracefully removed himself from the Kendrick Lamar and Drake war, people online and in the hip-hop sphere were tearing him down. So many were disappointed that the “7 Minute Drill” rapper would bow out from the competition, especially given his pen. However, since he dropped the diss that was, frankly, half-hearted, the battlefield has become extremely bloody. He even admitted that himself, and since most fans knew that Cole was always more of a lover and not a fighter, the narrative has switched. Now, spectators have become more understanding and giving him grace online.

“Everyone owes J Cole an apology” is one of the most common sentiments following the escalation of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef. After the North Carolina MC had tapped out of the battle following his “7 Minute Drill” diss and apologizing for it two days later, many clowned his decision and expressed disappointment or even anger towards him due to his exit. Well, now we know exactly what he was avoiding, and we can’t imagine that he would’ve been cool with the drama-filled, seriously accusatory, and relentless nature of this war. Benny The Butcher was one of many MCs to agree with Cole’s e ..read more

Doja Cat is constantly being invited to the Met Gala and for good reason. Overall, she is a massive star who fans want to see. Furthermore, she is someone who always tends to come through with something provocative on the red carpet. One can just harken back to the time that she dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat. That said, the Met Gala was on Monday, and fans were curious as to what kind of outfit Doja would come through with. Although, this year’s Met Gala was certainly overshadowed by current events, such as Israel-Palestine and Drake-Kendrick Lamar.
Regardless, there were quite a few big ..read more

Leave it to Cardi B to be among the most talked-about and eye-popping fits at the Met Gala last night (Monday, May 6). Moreover, she wore a black gown with gothic leanings and a large headdress to match, along with diamond and emerald jewelry, but the real talking point here was the skirt, which spread out to create a pretty big black flower around her feet. In fact, the toxic-men-blaster needed up to nine assistants to be able to fan out the dress beneath her. “I’m that b***h and you b***hes could never,” she told a red carpet interviewer when she was down to seven assistants instead of nine ..read more

Kendrick Lamar has been putting in a whole lot of work over the past week. Overall, this has all been in the name of trying to take down Drake. Firstly, he came through with “Euphoria.” Secondly, he dropped off “6:16 In LA” which was a means of taunting the megastar. Once Drake dropped “Family Matters,” Kendrick came through just 20 minutes later with “Meet The Grahams.” Of all of the songs in the feud, this one is the most haunting and disturbing. It almost felt like a horror movie thanks to The Alchemist’s production.
On Saturday, Kendrick Lamar decided to pour salt into the wound. He did so ..read more
