Porto Selvaggio is one of the most popular beaches on the Salento Peninsula of Puglia. It’s very different from the long stretches of white sand that the region is known for. Porto Selvaggio Beach is part of the nature reserve, Parco Naturale Regionale di Porto Selvaggio. To reach the rocky beach and crystal clear sea, you have to walk through the pine forest. Castro is one of the prettiest seaside towns in the Italian region of Puglia. Located on the Adriatic Coast, it’s a town of two parts. Castro Marina is a rocky bay of crystalline blue-green sea that attracts sunbathers and swimmers in summer. On the hilltop above, the walled Castro old town features a 16th-century castle, Byzantine church, and clifftop piazza with stunning sea views. Can you visit Zion National Park in winter? Yes, you can! This stunning Utah park stays open year-round, and there are several advantages to visiting in the colder months. Most importantly, there are far fewer people around. We absolutely loved our trip to Zion in February.
