I’m trying to decide what engine combo to run in my 1987 Chevrolet dually, which still has it’s original big block under the hood. It’s down one cylinder thanks to a valve that’s tuliped or a seat that is bad, so it needs some love for sure. I’ve considered several different big block combos, but these videos are certainly helping me out on the decision. I am leaning towards the 454 or mild 496, but I think I’m going to do heads, cam, intake, etc on top of the stock shortblock to start. We’ll see.  But I do believe that boost is in my future. Project Farm is back at it, with a slightly different spin than their normal video. In this one he’s taking a car that the shop says needs almost $13,000 worth of repairs. One of those things is a rebuilt engine, because they think that 200,000 miles means this Honda engine needs a rebuild, but even when you take that off then the repair bill is still big money.
