Deidra was no stranger to higher education. She had two advanced degrees, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in psychology, but she always had a passion for the intersection of mental health and nursing.

LaTonya first enrolled at one of Virginia’s Community Colleges in 2014, but life got in the way and her road back to school wasn’t the smoothest.

From heavy equipment to commercial trucks, these operators help move goods and build and maintain our roads, bridges and tunnels.
