like a lot of people, i have been super sick over the past two weeks. i came down with the flu on thanksgiving day, which was accompanied by a violent cough. it has been rough! i coughed so hard that i burst a blood vessel on my right vocal chord, which has caused me to have to reschedule shows and adhere to strict doctors orders of complete vocal rest… no singing, no talking. obviously, for someone who uses their voice for a living, this diagnosis and prescription can be a special kind of hell. i’ve had this happen once before, a long time ago, in my early 20’s and i do remember it being exc ..read more

My Health Journey
Soul Of EverLe

I turn 40 this coming August and I know my body is going to begin to shift, hormonally, so I wanted to set myself up for a healthy and happy new decade. As my wholly human podcast listeners know, I saw Dr. Mindy Pelz speak on another podcast panel and bought her book, “The Menopause Reset,” which really opened my eyes to all the ways in which I needed to shift some things in my life, in order to have a smoother transition into the next phase of changes all of us women inevitably transverse. I began working with Dr. Mindy a few months ago, which has lead to me slowly begin detoxing my body and ..read more

happy 2024! i hope your new year is off to a beautiful start… not too busy, just yet and hopefully, full of ease.  over the past 2 or 3 years, i feel like january has been a consistently challenging month for me, personally. i’ve either been going through dental surgeries around this time or dealing with recovering from a vocal hemorrhage, so most janauary’s, as of the past few years, have been pretty depressing. however, this year, january, so far, has been joyful and easeful. i feel like my health, mentally and physically speaking is better than ever, which i am beyond grateful for. i ..read more

Leaning into full acceptance
Soul Of EverLe
by ForEver Le

how much energy do you spend trying to change what is? what if you accepted what is, in this very moment, no matter how messy or uncomfortable the moment is? go ahead, try it…  ask yourself, what is present in this moment? what feeling/feelings? what worries? what judgements? what thoughts? what can you identify? go with whatever is most present and at the forefront of your experience.  now, i invite you to fully accept what is here, allowing it to just be.  when you lean into full acceptance, do you feel an energy shift? do you feel relief? do you feel lighter, even when what ..read more

Space…

space. what’s your relationship to space? what’s the first feeling that comes to mind when you hear the word space? if nothing springs forth right away, see if the following helps you to gain some clarity. how does it feel to create space in your body? when you stretch, practice yoga or get a massage, does your body drink it in and relish in the new found expansion or does it recoil back into the tight patterns that feel familiar? how about space in your schedule? if you were told you now have ample space in your schedule to rest, play, create, to do anything you desire, what comes up for you ..read more

i’m writing this blog, mainly for myself, but i’m absolutely certain i am not the only one who’s in need of a plan of action around dealing with loved ones who challenge us and triggering situations over the holidays. you know who and what i’m talking about… the humans we love dearly, but who also know how to push every button in our playbook… the awkward, unnecessary comments from well intentioned relatives or the heated arguments over politics, religion or money… all the “taboo” topics that don’t mix well with alcohol.  see, my mom is coming into town for christmas. i love her, dearly ..read more

Let Me Bring You Into The Now…
Soul Of EverLe

i’m in one interview after the other these days, as i lead up to the release of my new album, “gods work.” i’m constantly in conversation about what inspired this record, which carries the weight of some heavy topics. i find myself discussing sexuality, religion, politics, the oppression of women, how to create a more loving, heart centered world… so many themes i was once told  TO NEVER speak on, much less, create a whole album around, because my image and my “like ability” took precedent over my humanness.  it’s interesting, and quite disturbing what one comment, one belief can in ..read more
