US actor Terry Carter, best known for Battlestar Galactica and McCloud, has died aged 95. He died on Tuesday at his home in New York City, his son confirmed. Carter featured as Sergeant Joe Broadhurst in the detective series McCloud from 1970 to 1977. But he is also remembered for Colonel Tigh in the original Battlestar Galactica, second-in-command of the starship fleet across 1978-79. Former Home & Away and Neighbours actor Orpheus Pledger is at large after allegedly absconding from a hospital the night before he was due in court on serious assault charges. Pledger, 30, faces serious charges related to an alleged assault and causing injury.
