Arrow Electronics Q4 sales fell 16% year-on-year to $7.84 billion. Full year sales to December 31, 2023 dropped 11% to $33.1 billion. Profit fell to $195 million from $349 million the previous year. The European components distribution market declined in Q4, ending a long period of growth, according to DMASS. Distributors and manufacturers in DMASS reported consolidated sales of 4.45 billion Euro in Q4/2023 (-17.3% compared to Q4/22). Semiconductors dropped to 3.1 billion Euro (-18.5%), IP&E (Interconnect, Passive and Electromechanical) components declined by 14.3% to 1.35 billion Euro. Avnet has reported Q2 sales of $6.2 billion, down 7.6% year on year from $6.7 billion. Sequentially sales dropped 2.1%. Farnell sales $393 million, a decline of 3.7% year on year and 6.8% sequentially. Electronic component sales fell in all three geographic regions.
