Spring has finally sprung (sort of) - if we ignore the horrendous weather we had a couple of weeks ago! Anyone out there with a curly or wavy friend, child or relative will know about our hair.  Whether we be fluffing it up next to you before a selfie or battling it in the weather on that 'great day or night out' before the weather turned funky!  BUT buying gifts for those may seem a little tricky!  As hair can change wildly between person to person,  you wouldn't want to grab them something that is for a different hair type,  texture or that they'll not going to use.  Steer clear from anything too wild looking in terms of accessories,  unless you kno ..read more

Our philosophy = Simplify, Inspire & Transform. ‘Tis finally the season for pumpkin spice lattes, cosy knits, comfy boots and cute bobble hats - and for some of us the start of better hair days as the humidity drops. Hurrah! Of course, for others, the drier weather can do just the opposite and a change in products or routine might be in order! Whatever your curly routine, and whether you’re someone who has to switch it up as the seasons change or not, one thing is certain for all of us - clarifying could be key. But why? This month CGM Club is going to find out, so… Curly Girl Starte ..read more

Hey ? Heather here, I wanted to let you know about all the recent changes we've made in store and why. Why? Incredibly it's been a 4 year mission of mine. ? The reason I started this in the first place was to reach more people and help more curlies & waves who just weren't feeling their hair. ?Things I have done before were a reflection of me not trusting my abilities & relationship with my hair, which for me has always been directly linked to then how I feel. ? I'd have it short, like shaved around the sides short, i'd have it constantly wet, i'd not grow it long because detangling ..read more

Here at CGM Club HQ we realised it’s been a while since we treated you to one of our wonderful lists celebrating the fabulousness of curly hair! So this month, instead of talking products and techniques, we’re going to remind ourselves of some of the wonderful reasons that being a curly girl (or guy!) is the best thing to be! For many of us, embracing our curls, waves, and coils is the end result of a long love-hate relationship with our hair. We made it to May, and we’re finally allowed out to socialise! Hooray! Typical, then, that this month is shaping up to be one of the wettest on record. Sure, it’s not going to stop us from finally going out for those cocktails, but it might stop some of us from looking our curly best! Curlies tend to fall into one of two camps; those who find that the damp weather enhances their ringlets, and those for whom the first drops of rain bring with it a halo of frizz that laughs in the face of any serum known to man. This is why this month we’re asking: Frizz: Friend Or Foe? If you’ve ever spent more ..read more
