Thankfully, the fine people of Wescom Credit Union are making the clock adjustment a bit more seamless with the 9th annual edition of their Wescom Kindness initiative. The promotion gives SoCaler’s the chance to pick up free drinks and goodies at participating Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations this Sunday, March 12.

Do your eyes light up every time you see oysters on a menu. Mine do. And it’s even better when they are featured on happy hour.
This guide was created to navigate all the deals currently going on at some of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. There are just two simple but important requirements to make it on the rundown: 1) oysters need to be under $3 a piece and 2) the quality absolutely has to be on point. Nothing sloppy. Nothing suspicious. Just the best value in town. And that’s what I’ve compiled below.

When you hear “Santa Monica” your mind might grab images of standard California iconography. A sunset at the pier. A ride on the Pacific Park ferries wheel. A crowd of tourists on the the 3rd Street Promenade. But food wise? Where do your thoughts take you? I know what I think about.
I think variety, from Caribbean to Japanese. I think fresh seafood, plump pierogis, and wood-fired pizzas. I get hungry anticipating my next trip to the westside, because Santa Monica has it all… if you know where to look. Start looking below.
