Unlike other hot sauces, harissa isn't only about the heat! This Mediterranean-style condiment has several layers of flavors—hot, sweet, spicy, tangy, smoky—that enhance whatever you use it on. Top chicken, beef, fish, vegetables, meat, hummus, bread and more with this amazing condiment. —Nikki Haddad, Germantown, Maryland

Tabouli is a super fresh, mostly parsley salad with finely cracked wheat, juicy tomatoes, onion, fresh lemon juice, good quality extra virgin olive oil and a hint of fragrant mint. I added a little gluten-free twist to this recipe by replacing the cracked wheat with quinoa and then added some cucumbers for a nice crunch. For a delicious and colorful appetizer, serve in butter lettuce cups or endive leaves. —Nikki Haddad, Germantown, Maryland

After having to remove gluten from my diet several years ago, I made it my mission to try to recreate my favorite foods as gluten-free. This crust is a family favorite and great for classic and even dessert pizzas! I use Bob's Red Mill Gluten-Free 1:1 flour blend that contains xanthan gum, but if you use another flour blend that doesn't, you'll need to add 1 tsp. —Courtney Stultz, Weir, Kansas

Thick, cheesy and creamy, this queso is perfect for dipping. I use mild chilis and salsa, but if you like more heat, you can kick it up with medium-heat varieties. Serve it over eggs and omelets for breakfast or pasta with a sprinkle of bacon for a Mexican-American mac and cheese. —Kallee Krong-MCCreery, Escondido, California

I developed this recipe when looking for ways to use up a bottle of Sriracha. I knew I wanted something quick and easy, but with a lot of flavor. The steak can also be cooked on the stovetop in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Avoid overcooking and cut the steak across the grain for the most tender result. Flank steak can be used in place of skirt steak. —Kristen Streepey, Geneva, Illinois
